Welcome:Tenant Services
The main function of the Tenant Services Department's is to provide assistance to the residents of the Brownsville Housing Authority. Our goal is to help our residents become self-sufficient through education, job training and homeownership. We are committed to bring our residents into contact with our community awareness programs, which provide information that will enable them to achieve their own personal goals of self - improvement. Throughout the year, the Tenant Services Department is actively bringing in partnership / net-working agencies to keep residents informed of new services and programs being offered within the community. The Tenant Services Department has five Family Learning Centers that are used for after school tutoring. Each center has one tutor who helps the children with their homework as well as community projects during the summer months. The family centers are equipped with computers that contain educational and word processing software.
